GROUP HISTORY

                           Bobby “Baby” Walker – Lead

      Bobby grew up in Harlem singing doo wop music in high school. He sang in the choir and played baritone horn in school and later in the military.  He attended Lehman College where he studied and then taught music. Bobby has been part of the acappella group “Step Back in Time” and the blues group “Shades of Soul”. He was also a member of the oldies band “Memories”, he has performed with the Robroys and the Del Vikings.

 

 

Faith Severson - Alto

Faith has been performing with the 50's band Mainstreet Cruisers for the last several years. She has been one of two mainstay female performers in this group and has appeared in Atlantic City, Mohegan Sun, The Sands and many music festivals. She has performed with Jimmy Bense (Randy and the Rainbows), Kenny Vance and the Planetones, Norman Wright, Jr. (Del Vikings) and JT Carter (the Crests).

 

 

Howard Brock - Tenor and Musical Arranger

     Recorded original doo-wop music with “The Invictas” in 1959, associated with the Mohawk/Laurie record label. With “Memories Of You” since 1999 as a founding original member.  Has played keyboards and provided musical arrangements and original music for many Jazz and Rock bands.  He has performed with the Robroys and the Students.  Originally from the Bronx, NY and currently resides in Rockland County, New York.

 

                                         Paul Luchetti - Baritone 

     Started singing in the late 50s with “The Trylons” and recorded “Wish I Had An Angel”.  Has sung with several groups and performed on several recordings.  While living in Florida from 2001 to 2004 he sang with the nationally acclaimed doo wop group “The Five Boroughs”. Paul has been with “Memories Of You” since 2005.  He has performed with the Robroys.  Originally from Queens, NY, and currently resides in Fairfield County, CT.

 

 

 

 

 Peter Sherwood - Bass

     Has performed a broad range of oldies and popular music over the past 40 years.  He has entertained audiences with both all male and coed groups including Make Believe and Steppin’ Out, a well known Barber Shop QuartetA resident of Wayne, NJ, Pete is a long time member of both the United In Group Harmony Association and the Barbershop Harmony Society.
